Stand-Up Paddle Boarding
(SUP) Half Day

Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is a half-day water sports activity where the rider (you!) stands up on a large board and uses a paddle to move through the water.

Derwentwater is the crown jewel for stand-up paddleboarding in the Lake District and for a good reason!

With its numerous islands, beautiful bays and sheltered river mouths provide a stunning background.

Also, with a part of the lake being a designated nature reserve there can be plenty of wild life around, so keep a watchful eye out for;

  • Otters
  • Kingfishers
  • Ospreys
  • and other Lake Land wildlife as we cruise around the lake

If you would like, the instructors will provide GoPro cameras as well for a nominal fee and send you the recordings so that you can take a piece of the Lakes with you.

As there is great access to water and is sheltered from the winds which means it is a great destination for you to try out this exciting outdoor activity.

While you are on the water you will have the change to learn more advanced skills.

You will also be able to take part in challenges if you are not afraid of getting wet!
