Are we nearly there yet???? 15/5/20

What extraordinary times we are living in! We hope you have been keeping safe and well.

Although the disruption looks set to continue for a while longer, there does appear to be light at the end of the tunnel following the government’s recent easing of restrictions. And as we start to come out of this unusual hibernation, thoughts will no doubt be turning to those long-awaited holidays…let’s face it, we probably all need one!

At Long Valley Yurts, we have been closely following government advice and have been working tirelessly to ensure we can safely operate once we are give the green light to re-open.

We want everyone staying with us to feel safe and like they are on holiday. These are the most important things right?! Here is a snapshot of what to expect when staying with with us:
Space – and lots of it! Yurts on all of our locations are set apart and allow you to enjoy your holiday in your own space.

Safety – we have made a number of enhancements to our existing and robust cleaning processes, so you can be safe in the knowledge that our facilities are clean and sanitised regularly.

Travel Less – you can now access a range of locally sourced produce at its very best, delivered to your yurt, reducing the need to use supermarkets and make unnecessary journeys.

We also appreciate that right now finances may be a little pinched so we have made some changes to our booking terms and conditions to help with that too.

We are reducing our deposits from 25% to 10% for all bookings until we can officially re-open. We will not ask you for a full balance until 6 weeks before your stay and once we have a confirmed opening date. Additionally, if you book a date but can’t stay (due to travel restrictions still being in place) we will automatically roll your booking over to another date that works for you (before 2022).

We have had a lot of enquiries from customers wanting to book holidays from July. Until now we have taken the difficult decision to decline, as we have been unsure if we would be open. However, as the country slowly blows the dust off and we get back to our new normal we will be opening bookings from 3rd July for all locations.

This is on the proviso that customers will be aware at the point of booking that if restrictions are not lifted by then their booking will be postposed and dates rolled over to another convenient time, ensuring you are able to enjoy that much needed holiday!

We hope that these changes all give you peace of mind that your safety, purse strings and holiday hopes and dreams will be well looked after!

From all of us here we look forward to welcoming you soon.
